The Foundations

Before the apron, I earned a degree in Psychology and then a decade in high-stakes Toronto marketing. This is where I truly learned the "science" of connection. I sharpened my timing at Second City and on the stand-up stages of NYC before spending 15 years as a morning radio host. I learned how to drive a room, handle "live" pressure, and connect with people through nothing but a microphone and the occasional TV camera.

The MasterChef Moment

In the midst of a storied media career, I took a leap into the world's most famous kitchen and landed an audition for reality TV. As a Top 25 Finalist on MasterChef Canada, I traded the studio for the stove, proving that with enough grit and "Mise en Place," you can reinvent yourself at any stage of the game.

The Cook with Meg Community

When the world shifted in 2020, I didn’t just pivot, I built. Today, Cook with Meg is an amazing community of over 5,000 families across 4 countries who come together to gain kitchen confidence through virtual LIVE and on demand cooking classes and camps. But my mission doesn't stop in the kitchen. I’ve taken 20 years of marketing, broadcasting, and culinary grit to create a new arm of my business: bringing 'Kitchen Confidence' to your stage. Whether through high-energy keynotes, corporate team building, or professional emceeing, I bring all my 'past lives' together to help your organization thrive, lead, and master their own ultimate pivot.
